The following causes are available for your support as we salute our fallen Brothers and Sisters.
Please send us information for those that should be included on this site by sending to the e mail address below.
Greetings Brothers,
I hope things are going well with each of you.
Our Fraternity Brother, Taylor Brown, who pledged the class after mine passed away a year ago from ALS.
He was diagnosed in 2020 and in 2021 he started "Touched by ALS" a non profit that is set up to serve those with ALS in South Carolina.
When he died a year ago several folks got involved to keep the non-profit going and they are holding their first annual Gala on 10/26.
There is also a link on the page if anyone just wants to send in a donation and not attend. I know there are several of us that are going to attend in his honor.
Brothers, your support will be most appreciated and meaningful for this cause.

This past December, one of our recent alumnus Mills Griffin passed away. In 2020, Mills graduated from Clemson with a degree in mechanical engineering. He was a great friend and brother to everyone in our chapter as well as the entire Clemson campus. We wanted to honor him and his legacy as best as we could, so we are holding this fundraiser to support Mental Health America of Greenville County as well as to fund the new Mills Griffin Scholarship that has been made in his honor. MHAGC supports the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline for the entire state of South Carolina and has other resources like CRISIS line and TEENline and also has a variety of educational programs about mental health. The grant that has been supporting them ends in the coming months and raising money for them would truly save lives in the upstate and all over South Carolina. Sigma Nu Theta Zeta is also proud to announce the Mills Griffin Scholarship that has been created to honor him and his life. The first $10,000 raised will go towards funding the scholarship and the rest of the money that is raised will go to benefit MHAGC.
If you are donating to the scholarship and need a tax-deductible receipt, please contact Jackson West prior to making your donation at jwest6@clemson.edu or 864-404-7247 for more insight.
The mission is to honor the memories of Theta Zeta Brother Melet, wife Kim and children Olivia, Mills, and Ana Antonakos by awarding scholarships to students who best exemplify the characteristics of their family: willingness to serve, dedication to education and athletics, and love for their community.
Honoring:
Romans 12:10 (NLT)Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.
Serving:
Luke 22:24-27 (NLT)Then they began to argue among themselves about who would be the greatest among them. 25 Jesus told them, “In this world the kings and great men lord it over their people, yet they are called ‘friends of the people.’ 26 But among you it will be different. Those who are the greatest among you should take the lowest rank, and the leader should be like a servant. 27 Who is more important, the one who sits at the table or the one who serves? The one who sits at the table, of course. But not here! For I am among you as one who serves.Matthew 23:11-12 (MSG)Do you want to stand out? Then step down. Be a servant. If you puff yourself up, you’ll get the wind knocked out of you. But if you’re content to simply be yourself, your life will count for plenty.
Giving:
2 Corinthians 8:7-8 (NIV)But since you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in the love we have kindled in you[—see that you also excel in this grace of giving.
